Who We Sell To!

Our main Market!

After working in this business we have found out a lot about our customers. Our typical customer is a hard working golf pro with his or her own shop who puts business and member satisfaction first.

Another market for us is the small club with a small budget that wants to automate member services and cannot afford the big prices charged by most other golf software companies.

Our system is a business system of the kind that you would find in a busy auto parts store, an insurance company, or a gas and electric company. In other words, no frills get the customer in and out and make sure all of the information is properly processed and balanced.

With our point of sale, it just takes a few seconds to sell a green fee, a cart, a sleeve of balls, a glove, and a bucket of range balls, open the cash drawer, and print a receipt. All of the information associated with this transaction is processed at the end of the day. The rounds played counts are updated, the sales records are updated, and if the customer charged this to his account, the billing records are updated, or if the customer used credit book credits to pay for part of the transaction, the credit book is updated. The inventory is updated to refelect the sleeve of balls and the glove. If the electricity goes out during the day, no problem. We log each transaction to the hard disk as soon as it happens. We also have a quick simple file backup proceedure to safegaurd your information.

Thats what computers in the golf shop are all about. Information processing quick and easy! You can also have a point of sale in the snack shop, bar and elsewhere.

The personal computer evolved from mainframe computers which cost a million bucks and took up a whole building and required a big staff to manage and maintain. They are used strictly for business. With the arival of the pc, all of this power was available in the home or office and could be used by small business the same way that big companies used their big systems.

We have taken the systems designed by the big companies and brought them to the pc. We don't use the Windows style screens because our point of sale terminals can't use that format when running as networked slaves. Also we don't like looking at the hour glass, waiting for a customers name to come up.

Take a close look at our system before you dismiss us and talk to some of our customers who use the system. Then decide if it is right for you.
