Following are some of the most asked questions:

When I click on Point Of Sale out at the counter, I get the message "can not find working folder" and my point of sale won't run!


This usually happens when the point of sale computer is turned on before the main computer and the system is using Windows_98. A message is put out by Windows saying "can't connect, reconnect next time?" Well if you click cancel instead of yes the connection will be lost and you will have to reconnect.

This is not hard to do. You need to run Windows explorer (not internet explorer) to reconnect. Windows explorer should be on the main desktop as it is an important program. We will tell you how to do that later.

So the process is get Windows exploere running, START -> Programs -> is the route in, then click tools up on the top bar and map network drive. You will se a drive letter (probably E:) and a box below for path. On the right of the path box is a little arrow and if you click that yopu will usually find the server name.

This really has nothing to do with our software, it is a Windows issue, but if it causes you trouble it needs to be handled. Have you tried to call a big company for help lately????


How do I change the Point Of Sale Function keys?


Easy! Go to the point of sale menu and select number 7 pos function key setup the 2, (view or change) then the station number (usually 1) and make the change. To change the price go to inventory file maintenance and select the change item function.
